La Monita Mexican Urban Cantina is a modern yet cozy Mexican restaurant where people gather for high quality Mexican food and to rejuvenate. Located in the chic new Emquatier Shopping Complex, La Monita provides the communion of Californian and Mexican cuisines with handmade tortillas, pastries, complex traditional entrees and seasonal soups and salads. We strive to provide high quality meals and use high quality, local, organic ingredients as often as obtainable. The restaurant is located on the EmQuartier’s “Helix Quartier” 7th floor and provides a secluded balcony with a stunning view of the surrounding neighborhood and the shopping centers five story waterfall.
Executive Chef Billy Bautista creates earthy, modern interpretations of dishes from throughout Mexico and California, with emphasis on the coastal regions. His vision is to bring the beauty, complexity, and amazing flavors of Mexican food to Thailand and show that Mexican food is not just fast food. The culinary team of La Monita Urban Cantina creates an authentic Mexican dining experience with a modern twist creating a new definition of fine dining in a Latin fiesta style restaurant never before seen in the city of Bangkok
